Interested in volunteering? Being a volunteer firefighter can be a very rewarding job. High adrenalin situations and a sense of "family" that you share with your fellow firefighters is very satisfying, but much is expected out of all of the firefighters on the department. Dedication to serving and responding to calls at any time of the day, attending trainings, and being engaged in the community is a must.
